This collection features our growing selection of macroalgae for reef tanks, dedicated macroalgae aquariums, refugiums, and more. Adding macroalgae offers various benefits to a saltwater marine aquarium, including nutrient export (equivalent to nutrient absorption by aquatic plants in freshwater settings), a nutrient-dense food source for marine herbivores, and an ideal shelter for beneficial organisms such as copepods.
