These handy tools are primarily used for aiding in the removal of algae from the aquarium tank's glass surfaces, but may also be used to flatten the substrate in a straight line for a clean appearance. Available in 3 models, there is a size for every aquarium tank. Depending on the size of aquarium tanks kept, each model offers varying length and degree of adjustability. Constructed from strong, durable materials, these algae scrapers are suitable for use in both freshwater planted aquarium tanks as well as saltwater reef, coral and marine aquariums. With a sleek form, these algae scrapers are great for cleaning hard to reach areas in a planted aquarium and simple to clean. - Blades are extremely sharp and are not pre-installed. Please take caution when installing and handle with care to avoid injury.
- Each scraper includes a scraper head, 10 blades and scraper headcover. Please review separate notes for respective rods included for length adjustability.
- Suitable for use in freshwater planted aquarium tanks and saltwater reefs and marine/coral aquariums.
TIP: Replace the blade once algae becomes harder to scrape off and start from the bottom moving towards the top.
