It is relatively hardy and will do fine as long as it is provided with a quality nutrition source and sufficient humidity if not grown in aquarium settings.

Supplying the Malayan Sword with CO2 and low to moderate lighting are good baselines for beginning care.

Tissue culture aquarium plants are typically juvenile specimen grown in emersed conditions. There may be a transitional period as the plant adapts to submerged conditions. All tissue culture plants contain agar gel that should be cleaned thoroughly prior to use.
