Alternanthera Reineckii Mini is a dwarf variation of the well-known aquarium plant, Alternanthera Reineckii. Loved for its smaller size, AR Mini is suitable for nano planted aquariums and will produce lovely violet-red bushes in the aquascape. This aquarium plant can also be seen commonly in Dutch-style planted tanks as it looks particularly attractive when planted in larger groups. Although this Alternanthera variation isn't a difficult aquarium plant to care for, we still recommend providing it with CO2 injection, a nutrient-dense aquarium soil and medium to high lighting. Insufficient lighting levels will result in leggy growth that isn't as desirable as the plant reaches for the light source.
Propagation is easy and can be done by trimming anywhere along the stem and replanting into the soil.
