Anubias Barteri Coffeefolia is a beautiful variant of the popular Anubias family that is characterized by its unique foliage. Its leaves feature a ribbed pattern with an offset coloration to make it pop when submerged in a planted aquarium tank. Similar to other Anubias, it's a great choice for beginners due to its easy care and overall hardiness. This aquatic plant is almost indestructible in any planted aquarium tank and will survive in a range of environments. However, if presented with optimal conditions, this plant will thrive. It's best when used as a mid-ground plant attached to stones or wood as an accent or centerpiece depending on tank size. We recommend Anubias Barteri Coffeefolia for larger sized aquariums and for those looking for a much more unique rhizome aquatic plant. Another added benefit of this aquatic plant is that herbivorous fish such as goldfish species will not munch on it!

It's a flowering aquatic plant that grows best when the rhizome is attached to aquarium hardscape material such as driftwood or stone. Regular fertilization is favorable and low to medium lighting is sufficient as high lighting will promote the growth of algae on its leaves. CO2 is not required but promotes faster growth and robust leaves.

Propagation is straightforward; simply cut or pull apart rhizomes to be reattached.
