Anubias Chili is a very rare species belonging to the ever popular Anubias family. Extremely coveted, Anubias Chili is another aquatic plant that belongs in any Anubias enthusiast's collection. This aquatic plant is characterized by tiny leaves with the signature Anubias green hue. Anubias Chili earns its name as its leaves are unmistakenly shaped like little chili peppers. This aquatic plant grows dense and its care is comparable to other aquatic plant species such as Bucephalandra, Java Ferns and Cryptocoryne. As an Anubias species, Anubias Chili has a hardy nature and works well in low-tech planted aquarium tank setups as well as high-tech planted aquarium tank setups. It can be grown submerged or emersed in terrarium-like setups as well. In terms of size, Anubias Pangolino is still one of the smallest leafed Anubias plants. However, both Anubias Chili and Pangolino compared Nana Petite, are approximately half the size. As a whole, Anubias species can adapt to a wide range of aquarium tank parameters and is a wonderful aquatic plant choice for hobbyists of all skill levels. It is, however, slow growing like most Anubias plants, but will do better when provided with a light fertilizing routine, clean water, quality aquarium tank lighting, and CO2 injection.

No different from the rest, Anubias Chili is also a flowering plant that grows best when the rhizome is attached to hardscape material such as aquarium wood or aquascaping stone.

Propagation is straightforward; simply cut or pull apart rhizomes to be reattached.
