Anubias Nana Golden is a popular type of Anubias commonly used in planted aquariums, terrariums and more. This particular variation features a lime-green tone that produces a different look when compared to other forms of Anubias that are deep green in color. Like other Anubias plants, Anubias Nana Golden is very hardy and will readily adapt to a wide range of aquarium conditions and water parameters. Its neglect-tolerant ability makes it a popular choice amongst beginner aquarists who are just starting off. This plant doesn't require extensive knowledge to keep successfully and will thrive in both low-tech and high-tech planted aquariums.
Anubias species are epiphytic and will grow well when attached to any porous surface such as aquascaping stones or aquarium driftwood. Regular fertilization is favorable and low to medium lighting is sufficient as high lighting will promote the growth of algae on its leaves. CO2 is not required but promotes faster growth and robust leaves.
Propagation is straightforward; simply cut or pull apart rhizomes to be reattached.
