API Melafix

Melafix is an all natural treatment that aids in the protection from bacterial infections. By reducing the risk of your fish developing diseases, it also helps smooth the transition from store to home. It's not uncommon for fish to already carry a disease from the time you get them as the early stages are usually difficult to detect. Melafix helps treat and reduce the risk of contaminating other fish. It also heals open woulds, abrasions and helps treat fin rot, eye cloud, mouth fungus and promotes the re-growth of damaged tissue. Since it is all natural, it will not affect the biological filter, alter pH or discolor tank water. This treatment is safe for live plants and reefs and can be used in freshwater or saltwater aquariums.

Directions:  Use the API Dosing Cap on Bottle. Shake Well. Remove activated carbon, if possible.  
Dosage:  Add 5ml per 10 U.S. gallons of aquarium water. Dose daily for 7 days. After 7 days, make a 25% water change. Treatment can be continued if necessary. 

Can be used together with API Pimafix  to provide the added benefit of quick tissue regeneration and wound healing.
