Ardisia Sp Green

Ardisia Green is on the rarer side of the spectrum for commonly kept terrarium plants. With little known about this particular species, we do know that Ardisia plants thrive in high humidity and low to medium lighting conditions. Ardisia Green has beautiful rounded leaves with varying tones of green, orange and reddish. When placed under LED lighting, colors are exaggerated and pop beautiful in a terrarium, vivarium or enclosed container garden. We encourage high humidity, partial-shade and a mixture of quality sphagnum or peat moss mixed with your choice of bark, perlite or alternative potting mediums for planting guidelines. Stunted or deformed growth may signal a nutritional deficiency and browning edges are signs of insufficient humidity levels.
