Ardisia Tricolor Type 1

Ardisia Tricolor is on the rarer side of the spectrum for commonly kept terrarium plants. Originating from Asia, this plant loves high humidity and low to medium lighting conditions. Coveted for striking foliage, Ardisia Tricolor offers bold hues of green with dark, prominent venation throughout its leaves. When placed under LED lighting, colors are stunning in a terrarium, vivarium or enclosed container garden. We recommend high humidity, partial-shade and a mixture of quality sphagnum or peat moss mixed with your choice of bark, perlite or alternative potting mediums. Stunted or deformed growth may signal nutritional deficiencies and browning edges are signs of insufficient humidity levels.
