Bacopa Caroliniana AKA Bacopa Red is a lovely midground stem plant characterized by delicate, flower-like clusters of light green leaves. A staple in the hobby, it adds a whimsical effect to any planted tank. Bacopa Red can be grown submerged or emerged and will bloom tiny purple and blue flowers above water.
Bacopa Red is a great beginning plant because it does not need CO2 injection and only needs a nutrient-rich environment alongside clean water. Bacopa Red requires moderate light, but can tolerate low lighting if necessary. Leaves will turn reddish or bronze under high light and pink hues are an indication of low phosphate levels.
