IMPORTANT: Our aquarium plants may vary in growth forms. Because of this, please understand how to properly transition and acclimate plant(s) into desired form(s). We do our best to thoroughly clean and inspect all plants prior to shipment but cannot guarantee lead bunch or potted plants to be free from snails and/or algae. Not your thing? Please consider purchasing tissue culture aquarium plants!

Tissue culture plants are cultivated in sterile lab settings ensuring your plant is free from pests, snails and algae! These are young specimen that are grown in emersed forms. Gel should always be removed prior to planting.

LIVE PLANTS ARE SUSCEPTIBLE TO STRESS AND DAMAGE FROM TRANSIT - This may appear in the form of minimal melt, leaf loss, cosmetic damage, etc. Refunds or replacements will not be issued for plants with viable root systems or that die out of our care.

Bacopa Monnieri, commonly known as Moneywort, is a lovely aquatic stem plant that is typically used in the midground area of a planted aquarium. You may also see this plant referred to as Brahmi or Water Hyssop. It is easily recognized by a thick central stem with fleshy leaves that are rounded and bright green in color. Bacopa Monnieri is known to be a generally easy-going aquarium plant and is relatively tolerant of low-tech aquarium conditions. When possible, we still always recommend providing aquarium plants with CO2 injection to boost health, growth rates and coloring. Bacopa Monnieri provides vibrant pops of color and unique texture. Frequent trimming will allow the plant to branch off and will aid in creating denser plant groups. At a minimum, we recommend using a nutrient-dense aquarium soil to help the plant establish a strong root system.

Bacopa Monnieri has the ability to grow in emersed conditons and will bloom small purple flowers above the water's surface. This plant is suitable for terrariums, vivariums and paludarium setups as long as proper care is provided.
