Bolbitis Heteroclita, sometimes referred to as the Asian Water Fern or Bolbitis Broadleaf, is a beautiful species that is low-maintenance and great for the beginner aquarist and seasoned aquascaper alike. This aquarium plant works well in emersed settings and will also grow in any terrarium, vivarium, paludarium or enclosed container garden as long as sufficient humidity levels are met. Bolbitis Heteroclita features broad, leafy foliage with textured edges and produces new growth from its rhizome. Being an epiphytic plant, Bolbitis Heteroclita is versatile with placement and will self-attach to porous surfaces such as aquascaping stones and aquarium driftwood.
