Bucephalandra Claudia is characterized by bright green ruffled leaves. It has slightly wider leaves when compared to the popular Bucephalandra Green Wavy but is similar in size. Bucephalandra Claudia looks best when placed in the mid-ground of planted aquarium tanks.
This aquatic plant prefers low to medium lighting and will grow nice and dense if favorable conditions are provided. CO2 injection along with a good maintenance schedule will promote quicker, more robust growth. The stem and rhizome should not be covered when planting as this will cause the plant to rot and wither. It is best to attach or wedge Bucephalandra on or between aquarium hardscapes such as aquarium driftwood and aquascaping rocks.
