Bucephalandra NK Paris can be considered a medium-sized species of Bucephalandra. This particular species offers varying foliage colors with a mismatched stem color. In ideal conditions, this rare aquarium plant will produce iridescent coloration that Bucephalandra is known and loved for. While the genus is known for being relatively hardy and low maintenance, growth and color improves greatly when it is provided with CO2 injection, nutrients and good water circulation. Main color tones are purplish blue and dark green, but NK Paris can also produce shades of deep burgandy if conditions warrant it.

Like most forms of Bucephalandra, Buce NK Paris can be grown in emersed settings and is suitable for use in terrariums, vivariums and plaudariums as long as sufficient humidity and moisture are available to the plant to prevent it from drying out. Time and patience are essential when growing Bucephalandra Mini Coin as this genus is known for being slow growing! The stem and rhizome should not be covered when planting as this will cause the plant to rot and wither. Care is comparable to other popular aquatic plant species such as Anubias and Java Ferns, but it should be noted that Bucephalandra will not tolerate sudden changes well.
