Bucephalandra Red Blade

Bucephalandra Red Blade is a medium-sized buce variety. At first glance, you'll notice this aquatic plant has attractive foliage! Its ruffled, oblong leaves include shades of green and reddish hues with a prominent central vein. When added to a planted aquarium, its colors and texture shimmer under tank lights.

Like other species from this family, Buce Red Blade pushes out new growth via its rhizome. It is an aquarium epiphyte and will attach to natural materials like driftwood and porous stones (lava rock is great for this!). To get the best from your Buce, provide it with CO2 injection, nutrients and a spot that receives healthy flow.
