Tissue culture plants are cultivated in sterile lab settings ensuring your plant is free from pests, snails and algae! These are young specimen that are grown in emersed forms. Gel should always be removed prior to planting.

LIVE PLANTS ARE SUSCEPTIBLE TO STRESS AND DAMAGE FROM TRANSIT - This may appear in the form of minimal melt, leaf loss, cosmetic damage, etc. Refunds or replacements will not be issued for plants with viable root systems or that die out of our care.

Bucephalandra Red Mini, shortened to Buce Red Mini, is a variation of Bucephalandra that is typically now farmed and more readily available in the planted aquarium trade. This small-leafed Bucephalandra has a varying color palette that includes red, bronze, green and purple tones with its final coloration determined by various factors. In the wild, Bucephalandra is a marginal plant and can be found along streams in both submerged and emerged conditions. Growth methods will produce noticeable differences in appearance and iridescent color tones are typically produced in what most would consider a high-tech planted tank setup. This includes quality LED lighting, CO2 injection, ample circulation and a quality source of nutrients.

Bucephalandra Red Mini, like most Buce, is a slow-grower and will take time to produce impressive results. Slower growth makes Bucephalandra a more coveted genus. Buce Red Mini, amongst others, is a welcome species in the Buce enthusiast's collection. All Bucephalandra are epiphytic and will grow happily attached to aquarium driftwood or in between hardscape crevices.
