Bucephalandra Thick Brown

Bucephlandra Thick Brown is a fairly rare species of Buce. Bucephalandra Thick Brown is characterized by varying shades displayed on its smaller, rounded leaves. Being of a smaller size, Bucephalandra Thick Brown shares the same care requirements as other species within the same family. This aquatic plant works great in nano aquarium tanks and can be used as ornamental pieces in larger planted aquarium tanks. Care requirements are comparable to other popular aquatic plant families such as Anubias , Cryptocoryne , and aquatic ferns . Bucehalandra Thick Brown is undemanding and will adapt to a wide range of aquarium tank parameters. Despite its hardy nature, Bucephalandra species do even better when provided with a clean, balanced environment with appropriate aquarium LED lighting, CO2 injection and a regular fertilizing schedule. The ease of care along with a variety of shapes, sizes, and colors makes Bucephalandra a favorite amongst beginner hobbyists and experienced enthusiasts. 

Bucephalandra Thick Brown can be grown submerged in a planted aquarium tank or kept emersed in terrarium-like setups. Propagation is simple and can be done by gently separating the rhizome and replanting it within the crevice of an aquascape layout or attaching it to aquarium stone or aquarium tank driftwood.
