Doctor Mate sports a smaller size and is ideal for use in standard and nano aquariums under 30 gallons. The Chihiros Doctor Mate offers 3 modes and is equipped with bluetooth capability, allowing the device to be controlled via the MyChihiros smartphone app. When set to aquatic plant mode, Doctor Mate works to inhibit algae growth, indirectly supporting aquarium plant growth. The fish and shrimp mode aim to eliminate pathogenic bacteria in the water without affecting beneficial bacteria colonies.
