Cryptocoryne Ferruginea Sekadauensis is a rare Cryptocoryne species with limited information available. This plant grows marginally along bodies of water and can be grown in both submerged or slightly emersed conditions as long as sufficient moisture is available. Coloration varies and includes shades of greens and browns. We recommend this aquarium plant for hobbyists who are seasoned in caring for Cryptocoryne plants. It is assumed that this particular variation would work well in the midground area of a planted aquarium. An established, balanced environment, low to medium lighting and quality aquatic plant nutrient would be best with CO2 injection!
Like other Crypts, it grows at a moderate rate. Its growth rate is moderate and can be grown submerged and emersed. To propagate, simply cut off new plantlets growing from the mother rhizome. We recommend allowing this plant to grow and establish itself prior to propagating or moving the plant.
