Cryptocoryne Undulata is another beautiful variant belonging to the Cryptocoryne family. Characterized by its varying color palette, Cryptocoryne Undulata's coloring and overall growth is dependent upon the environment it is kept in. Still being a Cryptocoryne species, Cryptocoryne Undulata is a fairly forgiving aquatic plant that will thrive in a wide range of planted aquarium tanks. Care requirements are fairly simple as well and are comparable to that of Anubias and Bucephalandra species. Cryptocoryne Undulata can grow just fine in low-tech settings, but quality aquarium tank lighting along with CO2 injection will promote quicker and compact growth patterns. It is an easy plant, tolerant of very different conditions in an aquarium. Appearance of the plant will partially depend on these conditions. Given the chance, Cryptocoryne Undulata can grow quite large so sufficient planning should be done in regards to placement as this aquatic plant, like most Crypt species, does not prefer to be moved once planted.
Propagation is simple, separate new plantlets growing from the mother rhizome.
