Didiplis Diandra is an excellent aquatic stem plant midground or background choice depending on aquarium size. Its best to plant i n small groups in order to acheive a bushy effect. Under higher aquarium lighting, it tends to develop red leaf tips that contrasts well with green aquatic plants such as Rotala making this a sought after plant for planted tank hobbiysts worldwide. Aside from its unique coloration and quick growth rate, its also important to note that Didiplis diandra does eventually shade itself, potentially causing lower stems to wither or even rot. Consistent trimming of this aquatic plant is required when grown in optimal conditions.
