Aquarium Accent Driftwood Roots provide a simple way to add intricate design features to an aquascape layout for a planted aquarium tank. Rooted planted aquarium tanks are rising in popularity and generally utilize smaller pieces of aquarium driftwood to create the amazing depth and ethereal feeling in the planted aquarium tank. Driftwood Accent Roots allow for unlimited creativity and are versatile with placement. These aquarium driftwood branches can be wrapped around other pieces of aquarium hardscape material such as aquarium driftwood or aquascaping stones. These thin pieces can be adjusted to size or length and can also be tied or glued to aquarium hardscape. We recommend leaving them bare to create an abundance of roots in a planted aquarium tank. Alternatively, they can also be wrapped with aquatic moss species to provide an instant feel of maturity in a freshly planted aquarium tank.

Each piece will vary in length, starting from around 12” long to 20”. These aquarium driftwood accent roots can be adjusted to fit a wide range of aquarium tank sizes.

Includes: 5 aquarium driftwood roots

TIP 1:  Soaking or Boiling is encouraged to ensure these thin pieces are waterlogged. Alternatively, the aquarium wood will sink naturally in about 1-3 weeks.

TIP 2:  Tannins leeched from wood will provide a natural tint to water, but will gradually dissipate based on the frequency of water changes
