Echinodorus Quadricostatus, sometimes referred to as Helanthium Quadricostatus, is a beautiful aquarium plant that is suitable for beginner aquarists and experienced hobbyists alike. This easy aquarium plant produces 3-6" slender, light green leaves that offer lovely contrast in a planted aquarium tank. Echinodorus Quadricostatus grows fairly low but will readily spread relatively far, width wise. Like other Echinodorus species, Echinodorus Quadricostatus has the ability to grow in low-light conditions and is forgiving in nature. Echinodorus Quadricostatus grows via runners and will spread across the foreground of the planted aquarium tank. Frequent pruning will be required to ensure it does not spread to unwanted areas! Pale coloration may signal a nutrient deficiency.
