Eriocaulon Cinereum is a rare sight in the planted aquarium tank community. This Eriocaulon displays sharp foliage sprouting from its mid-point. Eriocaulon is a very ornamental aquatic plant with its unique hedge-hog like appearance. Difficult to obtain, there is little-known information about this aquatic plant other than being part of the Eriocaulon family. Notorious for being difficult to keep, Eriocaulon Cinereum is not an exception and isn't recommended for beginner aquarists as this particular aquarium plant requires specialized care to grow properly.

Eriocaulon Cinereum does best in soft water with nutrient-dense aquarium soil, high aquarium LED lighting, high levels of CO2 injection and a consistent supply of micro and macronutrients. Erio Polaris is highly coveted for its small size, classic "tuft" look, and soft green hue. If able to keep this aquatic plant alive, Eriocaulon Cinereum looks great in the midground of a planted aquarium tank when kept in groups and is a wonderful midground aquatic plant choice in a planted aquarium tank.
