Eriocaulon sp. Vietnam is a unique species in the Eriocaulon family. Most Eriocaulon species are known to be quite difficult to keep, but Eriocaulon sp. Vietnam is surprisingly considered an easier aquarium plant in the family to keep and grow. Eriocaulon Vietnam resembles another known species, Eriocaulon sp. Goias, and is characterized by medium-sized leaves that are medium green in coloration. This particular aquatic plant species grows dense and forms little tufts that resemble grass, making it a perfect midground aquatic plant choice or at the foot of stones such as Ryuoh or Seiryu in an Iwagumi style aquascape layout. While Eriocaulon Vietnam is easier to keep than other similar species of its kind, this aquatic plant still requires certain care in order to grow and thrive. Quality aquarium lighting, CO2 injection and a quality aquarium substrate are a good start for growing Eriocaulon Vietnam. If successful in keeping this plant, it makes for a beautiful addition to any planted aquarium tank. Its use is versatile and is comparable to other aquatic plant species such as Blyxa Japonica.
