Eusteralis Stellata, also known as Pogostemon Stellata, is a beautiful aquatic plant that has the ability to display a wide array of different colors ranging from green to red to pink. Its thin and pointy leaves grow in opposite pairs along the whole length of the stem. If pruned frequently, this aquarium plant will branch out and provide a bushy filler for the midground or background of your tank.
While it is an easy aquatic plant, high lighting and nutrient levels are essential in order to achieve and maintain vivid colors. High iron content will also help in the reddening of this plant and CO2 aids in speeding up growth but is not required.
Propagation can be achieved by taking cuttings from the main stem of the aquatic plant and replanting in quality substrate such as Marfied Controsoil.
