Fenestratum Culum is a relatively new aquarium rhizome plant that was discovered in the tropics of Southeast Asia. Limited information is available about this particular species, but it can be assumed that growing conditions and requirements are comparable to Bucephalandra. This unique plant is highly sought-after by rare plant collectors and Bucephalandra lovers! Appearance wise, Fenestratum Culum exhibits long, slender leaves with a pronounced midrib running down the center of its leaves. Coloration is a rich green tone that pops well against other aquarium plants or layout material. We highly recommend this plant for those who have jungle or forest-inspired aquascapes!

Fenestratum Culum is a slow grower and is epiphytic, meaning it'll grow best when attached to aquarium hardscape such as aquarium driftwood or stones. This species is relatively undemanding and will adapt well to most aquarium conditions. However, the addition of CO2 injection, nutrients and good aquarium maintenance will surely result in better growth, color and overall health. When used in paludarium or terrarium settings, it is important to ensure this plant is provided with ample humidity to prevent it from drying out or becoming damaged.
