Flame Moss

Taxiphyllum 'Flame' AKA Flame Moss is rarer species of aquatic moss that is slowly gaining popularity within the planted tank community. This aquarium moss exhibits a creeping upright growth that resembles an underwater campfire or bonfire, earning its name, Flame Moss. Its growth pattern makes it perfect for using it on any horizontal surface such as small stones or at the base of aquarium driftwood. Flame Moss is similar to other aquatic mosses in that it requires very little care, is great for beginners and experts alike, and can adapt to a wide range of aquarium tank conditions. Aquarium moss makes for a wonderful safe haven by providing cover for shrimp and fry and can also cultivate areas for live food sources. Approximate size per small portion is golfball while large portion is softball.
