Hygrophila Chai is an extremely rare aquatic plant that is said to be a mutation of its more commonly known counterpart, Hygrophila Araguaia. Hygrophila Chai is such a rare sight that there is little information available on this aquatic plant regarding its care, characteristics, and growth patterns. From the first impression, this aquatic plant features thin leaves that are reddish to pink hues. When grown submerged, Hygrophila Chai may resemble Hygrophila Araguaia with bright aquatic foliage.

Hygrophila Araguaia Chai grows similar to an aquatic stem plant and will grow lower when provided with quality aquarium lighting. Its growth pattern has the potential to form dense bush-like tufts and is a perfect mid-ground aquatic plant choice in planted aquarium tanks. Propagating this aquatic plant is simple and can be done by trimming and replanting healthy stems into quality aquarium substrate.
