Hygrophila Corymbosa Compacta is, like its name suggests, a very compact variety of the standard Hygrophila Corymbosa in that its leaves are closer set. This aquarium plant species is generally very easy to grow and will happily produce side shoots that amplify its naturally bushier appearance. Foliage color includes shades of green with potential to produce pinks and orange colors depending on the conditions in which the plant is grown. We recommend medium lighting with a nutritious aquarium soil to start. CO2 injection is optional, but will enhance appearance and growth speed. Propagation is simple as well. Simply cut off a shoot and replant it into a quality aquarium substrate.
