Hygrophila Odora is a unique bog plant that can be grown in a variety of planted setups. When grown in emersed settings, Hygrophila Odora's growth is upright with foliage that features short sticky hairs and light blue-purple flowers. When grown submerged in the aquarium, this bog plant's form changes drastically and is comparable to a cross between two classics; Hygrophila Difformis (Water Wisteria) and Hygrophila Pinnatifida. Hygrophila Odora becomes a bright green tone with serrated leaves that provide an ornamental look to the midground of background of a planted aquarium. For best results, Hygrophila Odora should be provided with strong lighting, CO2 injection, soft water and an ample supply of micro/macro nutrients.
