Limnophila Belem is a rare and attractive aquarium stem plant suitable for mid and background placement in a planted aquarium tank. This aquarium stem plant features lovely color with added texture from its serrated leaf edges. When properly taken care of, this Limnophila species branches well and will readily put out new growth, resulting in the need for regular pruning. While Limnophila Belem will survive without CO2 injection, the presence of it in the planted aquarium will noticeably encourage robust growth and better color. Along with CO2 injection, we recommend providing it with quality aquarium LED lighting and a nutrient-dense aquarium soil as a start.
Like other aquarium stem plants, Limnophila Belem is simple to propagate and can be done by trimming anywhere along the stem and replanting it into aquarium soil. A great choice for medium to large-sized planted aquariums!
