Lysimachia Nummularia, more commonly known as Creeping Jenny or Moneywort, is a beautiful marginal plant that can be grown in both aquarium settings or emersed in vivariums, terrariums, ponds and more. Creeping Jenny is characterized by its rounded leaves and low growing pattern, making it a great choice for those looking for good ground coverage in a planted setup. In aquarium settings, this plant tends to trail, producing an interesting look in the mid or background of the aquarium. It should be noted that this plant is a prolific grower and can be considered invasive in some areas, so periodic maintenance should be expected to keep its growth under control if a certain look is desired.

Lysimachia Nummularia is beginner-friendly, aids in reducing excess nitrates and adds a bright pop of color to any planted setup. When provided with proper care, Creeping Jenny blooms small yellow flowers. This is less common in the aquarium setting, but the plant has potential to shoot them above the water's surface if conditions are ideal.
