Monstera Adansonii Narrow is a very popular house plant in the plant community. This well-recognized species features narrow green foliage with characteristic fenestration spread throughout. A vining species, Monstera Adansonii will happily trail or climb along walls, stakes and poles when provided with one. It is a relatively hardy house plant that will readily adapt to a wide range of household conditions, making it a favorite amongst beginners and seasoned experts. Even so, Monstera plants will appreciate tropical conditions that include warmer temperatures and increased humidity levels. Emulation of natural environments will encourage larger, healthier growth.

In the wild, Monstera are fantastic climbers and will appreciate a sturdy moss pole to climb on and traverse. We recommend providing Monstera Adansonii Narrow with bright, indirect lighting. This can be in the form of indoor lighting with units like the ONF Aditya Plant Lamp or in a southern exposure. East-facing windows are good too along with western exposures, but the plant should be monitored to ensure lighting is not excessively direct as this may result in damage or burning of the plant. Pruning does not need to be frequent, but older leaves or foliage with visible damage can be removed to encourage new growth.
