Musa Siam Ruby is a beautiful plant that features colorful foliage and a compact growth pattern. While Musa Siam Ruby can be considered a smaller variation of Musa, this plant still has the capability to reach a sizeable footprint of 8FT with a horizontal spread of 6FT if grown in optimal conditions outdoors. When grown indoors, this species tends to be smaller and more manageable. Leaves are bright green as a juvenile specimen and will darken to a rich ruby red as the plant matures. Atop this color, Musa Siam Ruby also sports spots or streaks of bright chartreuse green making it a highly desirable plant that offers a tropical feel. Musa Siam Ruby is a flowering species and while rare, flowers produced are cream colored with purple bracts. Musa Siam Ruby should be provided with well-draining growing medium and is flexible with light requirements.
