Philodendron White Princess can be characterized by its variegated leaves that are narrower and more slender when compared to the White Knight and White Wizard varieties. Along with other variegated Philodendron species, the White Princess is another plant that makes the list for rare aroid collectors. Because variegation is random, each plant is truly unique! We recommend bright, indirect lighting, well-draining aroid mix that is rich with organic matter and increased humidity levels. This tropical aroid does best in warmer climates and should be kept away from colder areas and drafts. Philodendron tend to be mildly toxic and should be planted with care in households that have pets and children.
In the wild, Philodendron are fantastic climbers and will appreciate a sturdy moss pole to climb on and traverse. When provided with optimal conditions, Philodendron put out aerial roots that may be air-layered for safe propagation once mature. Pruning does not need to be frequent, but older leaves or foliage with visible damage can be removed to encourage new growth.
