Commonly confused with Philodendron White Knight, Philodendron White Wizard is another variegated species that has grown in popularity amongst rare aroid house plant collectors. This beautiful plant offers beautiful heart-shaped leaves that range in color from dark green, mint and white. Markings are all random and may cover small portions of foliage or span across the entirety. A key difference between Philodendron White Wizard and White Knight are the stems with the White Wizard's being primarily green versus the maroon toned stems shown on the White Knight. Like other Philodendron, Philodendron White Wizard appreciates a humid environment, bright-indirect lighting and premium potting mix that is well-aerated. This tropical aroid is tolerant of standard household conditions but does best in warmer climates and should be kept away from colder areas and drafts. Philodendron tend to be mildly toxic and should be planted with care in households that have pets and children.

In the wild, Philodendron are fantastic climbers and will appreciate a sturdy moss pole to climb on and traverse. When provided with optimal conditions, Philodendron put out aerial roots that may be air-layered for safe propagation once mature. Pruning does not need to be frequent, but older leaves or foliage with visible damage can be removed to encourage new growth.
