Rotala H’ra is arguably one of the most popular Rotala variations available in the planted tank hobby. This species is a variation of Rotala Rotundifolia and resembles Rotala Green closely in form and growth style. The discerning factor is coloration in that Rotala H'ra produces a rich pink to orange palette when grown in optimal conditions. Its leaves are narrow and plentiful along the main stem, making it a top contender in Dutch-style aquascapes and beautiful when planted in dense groups. Like other Rotala plants, Rotala H'ra is a prolific grower once established and will require periodic maintenance to maintain a manicured appearance and prevent the plant from shading other species in the aquarium. Propagation is simple and can be done by trimming along the stem and replanting into quality aquarium soil.
