Selaginella Indonesia on Christmas Moss Clay Ball

Selaginella Indonesia is a species in the genus Selaginellaceae. This species features a bold, bright green color and interesting textures! Sometimes referred to as Spike Moss, Trailing Moss, or Club Moss, this species of Selaginella is an attractive plant to grow and makes a great choice for ground cover in a terrarium, paludarium or vivarium. Other species of Selaginella are also capable of climbing. Soil should be kept moist, not overly wet and high humidity levels are favorable for this plant. Selaginella typically thrives best in warmer climates so keeping its environment above 50F is best for its livelihood. Selaginella does best in bright, indirect light or even full shade depending on the species.
