Staurogyne Repens is a compact and hardy aquatic plant that is commonly used for aquascaping. Its smaller stature and naturally bushy appearance is great for filling in empty spaces in the fore to midground area of an aquascape. Adaptable to various aquarium condtions, Staurogyne Repens is fairly forgiving and can be grown in both low-tech and high-tech planted aquarium setups. When grown in aquariums with lower light, the plant's growth becomes taller as the plant reaches for light. In high-light conditions, Staurogyne Repens forms compact bushes, a desired look for many aquascapers! 

Supplying Staurogyne Repens with CO2 injection and moderate lighting are good baselines for the plant's success.

Tissue culture aquarium plants are typically juvenile specimen grown in emersed conditions. There may be a transitional period as the plant adapts to submerged conditions. All tissue culture plants contain agar gel that should be cleaned thoroughly prior to use.
